Gretchen Albrecht called in with the report that it was very windy on the ridge today. That always means fewer hawks seen and thus fewer banded. Their total today was 5, which brings the season total to 88.
They also had 2 Peregrines that repeatedly flew through the set and a Kestrel that kept them working for a half an hour at the end of the day. The ASY Copper's hawk was in heavy molt. Helping Gretchen today were Cliff, Mary, Andrea, and Melissa.
